Title, tax declaration and other papers you'll come across.

Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT) / Condominium Certificate of Title (CCT)

Proof of ownership registered at the Registry of Deeds. Always verify a certified true copy.

Tax declaration

Issued by the local assessor for real property tax. It is not proof of ownership on its own.

Deed of Absolute Sale

The contract that transfers ownership once the price is paid. It is notarised and used to transfer the title.
